Listened to classics ep
I’m liberal and listened cuz my recently turned conservative sister has been talking about classics for a bit and I didn’t know it was a known conservative “obsession”. But honestly kinda annoyed that Lulu talked with a negative/impatient/slightly rude tone most of the episode. The guest seemed to approach the convo with more open-mindedness, and a lot of what he said was reasonable. I think she owed him more effort at understanding and less obvious bias in the interview. I’m tired of this partisan narrative, & I get its place in this convo but would be cool if they dived more into the importance of classics/what is education instead of challenging him the entire time. The way she said “Cinderella!” at the end also sounds condescending to me, idk!
