“I liked Ms. Garcia-Navarro very much on NPR, yet hugely underestimated her potential to make yet another interview podcast worth listening to. I stayed away from First Person for a year. Mistake! I’ve listened to the last half dozen episodes and will never miss another. The most recent episode (dementia) radicalized my understanding not just of dementia but human relations. Ms. G-N is a wonderful, deep, and modest interviewer whose knowledge of the world is profound but never on show.”
