A great listen, practice advice!
I am also a physical therapist but do not work in the orthopedic/sports sector, and I love hearing Shannon’s perspective on exercise. She clearly has done the research and has packaged the information in a way that is easily digestible for anyone, but very well supported by the science. A great listen with very practical advice that can be easily incorporated immediately into your life!

this podcast allowed me to learn to respect my body. I learned that even if we train for less time and less intense, we can have results. When we over train, our cortisol increases which can have negative effects on expected results and on our hormone balance.
