Life changing!
I have always loved high intensity training and was very skeptical when I came across EVLO and this podcast. I was hesitant to jump into the program but after having a bad case of tendinitis in my knee I came across Dr. Shannon’s instagram page and eventually this podcast and dove into the episodes! I love how Dr. Shannon and her guests get so scientific about what’s actually happening in our bodies and what our bodies need to gain muscle! So many workout programs have users going through the motions and not seeing results. I feel a new spark for fitness after listening to all of these podcasts and am so excited for my EVLO workouts each day. They still are challenging without being so hard on my body. I am starting to get better with the mind-muscle connection and can feel muscles firing so much better than I ever have before! I’d be curious to learn more about calories and how many calories women typically need? I’ve read that we typically need more than society leads us to believe, at least 2,000+ for an active woman to maintain their weight? I find that I need way more than I previously thought but would love an episode talking more about this with a nutrition expert!

She teaches you why safe, effective exercise techniques that don’t wear you down increase your results. Exercise done incorrectly can increase physical stress to the detriment of our...Read full review »

As someone who loves to workout but struggles with hip pain, this podcast is so informative! I love all the topics that Dr. Shannon discusses that are counter to what we have been so ingrained by the fitness industry. I loved the episode about having an effective workout in a shorter amount of...Read full review »

I stumbled upon Dr. Shannon Ritchey and I’m so glad I did. I have bad joints and love to work out for results but always felt like a PT was more interested in just trying to heal my issues and a fitness trainer didn’t always have the proper knowledge to give the best exercise advice for when you...Read full review »
