How to cut your workout in half but double your results
I am really enjoying all of Dr Shannon’s podcasts! I found this episode particularly helpful in my life as I have been dealing with joint pain. Anytime I overdo it in exercise I take excessively long to bounce back, if I do at all. Dr Shannon explains in this episode how you can overload your joints and underload your muscles and never see the results you want. She also explains, which I found very interesting, the difference between catabolic and anabolic systems and how that relates to seeing or not seeing results! I highly recommend this podcast!

Not only are these podcasts super digestible (Dr Shannon really breaks the science down), but they offer a different approach to fitness than the break your body down or HIIT fanaticism you get from other fitness podcasts. I learned so much in this episode! I had no idea the effect cortisol had on our bodies and how working out the right way is so important. I used to sacrifice sleeping for workouts 5 days a week.
