Description
In this episode of the Fit For Golf Podcast. I am joined by Marty Jertson.  Marty is the VP of fitting and performance for PING. He is also an exceptionally good golfer, having qualified for a number of major championships and PGA Tour events.  Marty is genuinely one of my favorite people to talk to, and one of the smartest I know. He has a hugely vast knowledge of a wide range of golf performance variables and has tried his best to implement them into his own game and help others with theirs.  In this episode we focus mainly on how conditions such as wind, moisture, and temperature affect our golf shots, and how we can improve our ability to factor them into our shot selection.  We also a dig a little bit into Marty’s playing career, and hear him talk about his major championship experiences. Just before we get started, a reminder that Fit For Golf has it’s own app. Golfers of all ages and all standards are making huge strides in their golf performance, fitness, and health.
