Omed Alam is a Danish and Nordic champion in weightlifting. He has been competing in weightlifting for over 14 years representing Denmark in Nordic, European, and World championships as junior and senior in the 89 kg class.    In 2013, he earned the Bronze medal in Junior European Championships and in 2018 ranked 5th on World Weightlifting Championship. His personal best lifts are 153 kg snatch and 186 kg clean and jerk.  He is a certified trainer from Ålborg Sportshøjskole, the most prestigious institution in the field and makes a living by training amateur and aspiring weightlifters as well as CrossFitters or other athletes. He works at Butcher's Lab, the first CrossFit box in Denmark located in central Copenhagen. This is also the reason he is currently attempting to do more CrossFit himself and even partake in some competitions.   Omed has been to Albania for many weightlifting competitions and the podcast hosts have trained with him in weightlifting in Copenhagen.
