Great to have Ethan back
Just finished the first two episodes and really enjoyed them. I came across the pod after seeing a whyttingham tweet about. What a discovery! The main thing is that I’ve always enjoyed Ethan’s work in print and broadcast. It’s great to have him back. He’s a great mix of analysis (not too deep a dive into numbers that you would lose people but enough to get math averse people like me hooked) and commentary (not condescending and well-connected). Whyttingham is a good host, capably driving the car and jumping in when necessary (because he’s well informed) and with good insight, but mostly stepping back to let Ethan do his thing. I’m sure there’s a roadmap for how this pod will go but would love if the frequency of pods increases. Perhaps guests? Maybe an episode that comments on what’s happening nationally? I’m sure all in due time. I’m pulling for this one to succeed. Can’t wait for more!

So glad to have Ethan back. He was the only reason I listened to 790 the ticket. Guy had the best insights and analysis when it comes to Miami Heat info on/off the court stuff at that place. Lokking forward to hearing more stuff for the rest of the season.

I love all the Miami coverage it’s great, but they try and get their political views out and that’s not what I listen for. If you want to make a political podcast then do it. It really ruins the episodes and all the daughter talk... no one cares. We’re here for Miami sports not politics and talk...Read full review »
