I’ve tried for a long long time..

“I have tried so hard to continue listening. Love guests like Joey Diaz and Action who know how to tell a story and are inherently funny. Butttt the constant “mmmm”’s and “good question” (when it’s really not a good question) to cutting off other people constantly.. it’s just not a good podcast at the end of the day. It’s sad bc it has so much potential and it’s only gotten worse over time. I can tell Andrew is very smart but pushing guests for deeper answers all the time is just not the way to go. Not every thing has to be so deep. A good conversation can just be a good conversation with great storytelling. Andrew’s constant explanation of what the guest means after every statement is like he is trying to dumb it down for his listeners. They’re also not very funny in general. The Whitney Cummings interview was the most cringe interview I have ever heard. Asking Sebastian Maniscalco about money was also cringe. I also feel like they tiptoe to not offend anyone and I just crave a more substantial and controversial show. Even if I don’t agree with the opinions I still want to hear podcasters opinions. I’ll come back if I like the guest and I’m caught up on my other podcasts but I think I’m just done for now. So disappointed.”
