Welcome to our introductory episode on our upcoming series on the plant genus Fritillaria. A very common species in this genus is Fritillaria meleagris, also known as snake’s head’s fritillary or chess flower in English, Kungsängslilja in Swedish, Schachblume in German or Fritillaire pintade in French.
