“So, I want to say, I love this podcast. It has helped me in so many ways. I am listening to the show currently where Natalie addresses a review and I want to piggy back onto her response. First of all, if you think that a church cannot be corrupt and manipulating, then you need to head over to another podcast called “Something Was Wrong”. That podcast addresses all sorts of issues in which people have been manipulated by an organization that called themselves a “church”. Am I saying all churches are bad/evil? No. What I am saying is, there are abusive churches out there. Greed, power, and narcissistic people usually run those churches. We have to be careful when listening to humans, they are not God. We can HOPE that they are practicing as God would want but it isn’t guaranteed. It was very unfair of the reviewer to make an assumption that people of a church wouldn’t hurt others. I thankfully have never experienced this type of abuse, BUT listening to the stories that others have shared is heartbreaking. So, to the reviewer who thinks it is negative to think negatively of a church, I recommend you head on over to that podcast and enlighten yourself instead of judge someone for trying to help others heal. Thank you Natalie for all you share, it takes courage. I will be downloading your new book today!”
