A Drop in the Bucket
Natalie’s book, All the Scary Little Gods, went on sale this morning. I woke up at 4am and ordered it. The first video of Natalie’s I ever watched, in 2018, was a 6-minute short entitled, “Can He Change?” I’d been involved in a 44-year long abusive marriage that programming-via family of origin, spiritual beliefs (ie religious entrapment) and my own outlook on pleasing God and others kept me locked in my own personal prison. I had told myself that physical abuse was not acceptable. Why did I think that all the other abuses were tolerable? I would live with abuse until I answered Natalie’s question, “Can He Change?” Will he change? Ah, no. he can’t. He won’t. And he never will. Today I have been ‘flying free’ for almost 6-years! Natalie’s podcasts are a weekly staple for me and after over 263 of them, NOT ONE DISAPPOINTS!!! The healing from that first drop of water in my bucket is now overflowing with an endless supply of living water. My life is full and rich and I am finally living! Can’t wait to get my hands on this book. Thank you, Natalie, from the bottom of my heart.

I made the impossible decision a few months ago to leave my marriage of 26+ years. My husband is a pastor and his role in our church was like a ball and chain around my neck, keeping me absolutely trapped in an unhealthy, destructive marriage. I wouldn’t even allow myself to think that divorce...Read full review »

I feel validation, hope and support in walking this hard journey....Read full review »
