Research Recap: Xyway™ Brand Fungicides Grower and University Trials - Row Crops Ep 20
Listen now
Description
The way foliar diseases in corn are managed is evolving. New to corn fields in 2021 is an at-plant concept, Xyway™ brand fungicides, that’s changing what growers expect from a foliar fungicide. In the lead up to this year’s launch, FMC conducted numerous field trials with growers and university researchers across the U.S. in 2020. The goal: To show the efficacy of the fungicides across a variety of geographies and disease conditions. Two researchers involved with these trials, Kiersten Wise, extension plant pathologist and professor at the University of Kentucky, and Matthew Wiggins, technical service manager, visited with Good to Grow recently to recap and unpack the insights gathered from their trials. Listen in as they dive into everything from the chemistry to how this technology could change the way residual fungicides are expected to work.
