How did this happen? When did 18 weeks of the NFL season suddenly pass us by? We don't know and we are not happy about it. There were some weird things at stake in week 18 and some weird results as well. The Jags owned their own destiny and followed through by earning a playoff berth. The Pats had their destiny, but blew it and allowed the Dolphins who kept their laces out to get the final berth in the AFC. In the NFC, Brady finally finished with a below .500 record but still made the playoffs.
