“Hello, my name is Geoffrey Townsend I am a member at the Ravenna Park ward in Seattle WA. I was baptized 9 OCT. 2021 I finished the year with the come follow me D&C.
Before the start of 2022 I got a call from bishopric for my first calling to lead the Discussion for the ward FHE via zoom. I was faced with members in the FHE who serve in temple, Old Bishop and wive our ward young women and Family History expert. Members from other wards from 45 min to hours away and all have been raised in the church.
A member recommended this podcast and for 2 years and 4 months every week I listen to your podcast and read for myself to gather coherent information enough to generate conversation and keep the group on topic….
I have never even read the Bible let alone Book of Mormon… my knowledge understanding willingness have been areas where the Holy Spirit now has sown to me and shows me how to use this to bring others to know Jesus. I’m leaving this review because I just looked back and saw how your podcast has been the tool from me to learn and go back and relearn the topics I would have never ever been able to understand let alone present it and lead a discussion. Thank you so much for allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you and thank you for creating this podcast… I feel so chosen to have been baptized with a calling at the same time with the come follow him podcast. The trust in knowing Heavenly Father placed you both and me to learn from is one of many noticed events that cannot just have happened without the Holy Ghost.
