Description
Alex Nadeau and I are in the tent alongside a creek in the Yukon high country. We tell the amazing story of our first-night connection with a huge bull Moose and then we get into a discussion on staying positive while in the field on long hunts. You can watch videos from this trip on our new YouTube channel, John Schneider's Wild Life.  Alex and I share some of the tips and tricks we've learned about staying comfortable while glassing and performing other sedentary activities when we're hunting. Loneliness, stiffness, and other discomforts will all present themselves as obstacles to success we're hunting...at some point along the way. Here are some ideas to help you spend more time in the field. Enjoying the adventure.  Something new! We've launched a new YouTube channel... "John Schneider's Wild Life". Follow along as John transitions to living aboard a sailboat on the Pacific Coast, living a self-sustainable lifestyle of hunting, fishing, and foraging for wild food.
