Meandering Podcast
I used to listen to Food in Session and noticed that near the end of its run the podcast turned into more of a gabfest between two friends than something that was meant to inform. After listening to the first three podcasts of Curious Me, I think that Emily and Mindy need to edit out a lot of the superfluous discussion as I couldn’t figure out why I should spend what little extra time I have listening to this. In all 3 episodes, I fast forwarded multiple times and ended up not finishing listening to an entire episode. There are a lot of Podcasts out there to listen to and some are really good. A podcast about everything you find interesting may not be worth your audiences’ time. They need a reason to listen and I couldn’t find one. Jonathan Van Ness has a really good podcast about things he is curious about called Getting Curious. Was it your intention to pattern your podcast after his?
