First impressions
I've listened to three of the episodes now and my impression is that the frequent giggling is irritating. I listen to many podcasts and several of the others offered through How Stuff Works and I understand the need to pepper a conversation with some levity. This podcast hosts giggling gives me the impression that the speakers smoked something before the podcasts and have an illusion that everything is funny that isn't to the listener or the speakers are constantly laughing at inside jokes that only they get the humor of, making me feel excluded and confused. When the speakers get back to food facts and history and speak in a straight voice that is neither smug, mocking, derisive, or school girl giggly, I thoroughly enjoy the content. This podcast has strong potential to be on my short list of most loved and listened to podcasts if the giggling is more limited.Read full review »

Cons: Could be more engaging and interesting versus just reading from a script (or so if sounds). Cutting the audio! You can tell when...Read full review »
