“I like these guys on Twitter but it feels like the same stuff everyone else is saying with some terrible opinions mixed in. Specifically Dave acting like Damien Harris was some Trent Richardson clone and him sharing carries with Rhamondre was some sort of slight against Rhamondre. Harris was coming off a 929 yard, 15 td rushing year and was running behind a minor league offensive line that got him hurt.
I tuned in to try to hear some interesting takes on udfa running backs but I walked 2 miles with it on 1.25x speed and didn’t really hear any insightful info before Dave word vomited to the point where I turned it off.
I generally don’t care for podcasts because I will just look up coaches and usage myself so maybe take that with a grain of salt.
The one thing I’ll say, though, is like pretty much all fantasy content creators, they don’t spend nearly enough time talking about offensive line and scheme. I did hear some mentions, which is nice, but not nearly enough for how important it is.
Also, just like all other creators, they look at it from the perspective of fantasy instead of what makes sense in a football world. Every year fantasy guys are appalled because some fast RB doesn’t get as many touches as they think he should, and yet no one ever mentions the likelihood that rookie RBs don’t know the playbook well enough or how to block. It’s always just the coaches fault he doesn’t use the fast guy”
