“I love this podcast, most of the time. Still five stars worthy though. Occasionally it makes me grind my teeth - it can be a bit too ‘London’ and was definitely freer and funnier pre pandemic and before it went on to broadcasting - I’m guessing the BBC had no idea how good these two chatter boxing can be and want to take some of the shine off their magic by shackling, at least to some extent, their innate capacity for humour.
When Jane Garvey does her Scouse accent, or any of her accents - it kills me, it’s the cherry on the cake, it’s so funny it tickles me to the core. They’re both incredibly sharp and witty.
These two should be unleashed and breakaway from their sometimes obvious self restraint.”
