Description
Each year approximately one billion birds die during night migrations due to city lights and window collisions. For this episode, we spoke with Heidi Trudell, one woman who is on a mission to lower that staggering statistic. Since 2003, Heidi has worked as a researcher and consultant on the topic of bird collision and prevention. A Native Texan with a field biology background focused on Attwater’s Prairie Chickens, Aplomado Falcons, Heidi has also worked at zoos, libraries, and tech startups.Stay up to date on future episodes and our bird shenanigans in between episodes by following Fowl Mouths Podcast on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Remember to please Like, Subscribe and Comment!
