The Triumphant Lamb - Revelation 5:1-14
Listen now
Description
The central theme that emerged in Revelation 5 was the unwavering truth that Jesus Christ, and He alone, is worthy to open the sealed scroll in God's heavenly throne room.  In this passage, we explored the three powerful images of Jesus: the Lion of Judah, the Root of David, and the Lamb that was slain. These metaphors point to a different aspect of Christ's identity and why He alone is worthy. Jesus is the victorious Lion who conquered sin and death, the faithful Root from whom our hope springs, and the sacrificial Lamb whose blood redeemed us.
