Listen now
Description
This episode originally aired in May of 2021. At just 18-years-old, actress Cailee Spaeny landed her first role in Pacific Rim: Uprising after winning a nationwide talent search. At the time, Cailee and her mom would routinely make a 25-hour drive from their home in Springfield, Missouri to Los Angeles for auditions with their hearts set on making it in Hollywood. Six years later, she’s starred in The Craft: Legacy, Mimi Leder’s On the Basis of Sex, Mare of Easttown, and is currently gracing the silver screen as Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla Presley in Priscilla. In this episode, Cailee and I talk about going from a small town to reaching big city dreams, navigating Hollywood at a young age, and what keeps her grounded. Catch Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla now in theaters.  Love the show? Follow us and leave a review!
