Truly the Best
Friends at the Table is, bar none, the best actual play podcast you will find in the English language. (I’m just leaving it open here.) Austin Walker and company are masterful and engaging entertainers and storytellers, able to balance gut-busting hilarity with sobering and insightful moments, all woven from chaos and dice rolling. If you listen to this, I guarantee you will not just learn about roleplaying, you will learn something about yourself and about life.

not only does this podcast have an engaging story, interesting characters, neat worldbuilding, AND the ability to emotionally involve me in listening to people I don't know play a tabletop rpg, it also introduced me to dungeon world, a game system that is a perfect fit for the gaming group...Read full review »

I really, really, really love Friends at the Table. Cool, thoughtful people playing cool, thought-provoking games. It REALLY hits its stride with COUNTER/Weight, but it’s great all the way through.
