In the season 2 finale of FIM, my friend and brother from way back Christopher Allen joins the pod to close out a tremendous season and set things out for the new season. Chris who’s now an Elder Elect currently serves two fledgling ministries in different capacities. We spoke about what “church heritage” meant to him, being someone who grow up in the church his entire life. We also spoke about how instrumental his grandmother, Mother Allen was in his walk with Christ. I shared the story of the first day I met Chris and the impact it had on my going forward that I never forgot and he spoke of what allowed him to be the way he was on that day. We talked about at what point did he knew he had a calling in ministry and and how significant that was. As also a worship leader he spoke on the importance of setting the right atmosphere as a worship leader. Chris who’s been married now for 7 years to his wife Rashida, talked about garnering experiences of marriage and learning things as they went on.
