“Dear Mike and Maggie, I’ve been listening to the cast for quite a while and I listened to (almost) all the episodes. I’m an engineer, so I appreciate more of the Mike’s synthesis than Maggie’s tangents, although I also understand that 100% Mike would be terribly boring. I don’t live in the USA, so I miss some of the cultural biases. In some cases some ideas you present as “extreme” are very usual to us. An example is to cut the toothpaste tube. Also your English is easy enough for me, so I enjoy a lot listening without missing too much. The only down side of the show are the interviews: sometimes (more some time ago) the quality of the sound of the guests wasn’t exceptional, undermining my comprehension. Furthermore, some of the interviews are just “tell me about your FIRE experience”, while I’m much happier when there is a clear subject.
