Can be patchy but charming overall
The sound quality isn’t always the best and professionally this podcast has some way to go to sounding “easy to listen to” on the ears (in one episode the guest’s mic was off the whole time) but there are some charming chats there about food, family and cooking in a way that isn’t super structured or deeply insightful but it is definitely interesting and a sort of guilty pleasure. I feel like I know the host by now and she is charming, witty and has the best laugh I have ever heard which she gives freely. The guests obviously make the episode with the more charismatic guests like Chris the mind reader, who was the best podcast guest I have ever heard in any podcast before. What a legend!
