It's not quite Fall, in fact we have about 3.5  more weeks of SUMMER. Although, if you're part of the SPOOKY COMMUNITY it starts after JULY 4th. Interestingly enough we attended the Midsummer Scream 2023 Halloween Convention the same weekend The Haunted Mansion movie opened in theaters. We FINALLY both watched the movie after attending the Midsummer Scream 2023 The Haunted Mansion panel a couple weekends ago in Long Beach, CA. We were pleasantly surprised by some of the Behind The Scenes facts and the respect NOLA (New Orleans, LA) received in the new movie. But did we both like the film? Did it resonate as a family FALL classic for the rest of Eternity? Have you watched the Eddie Murphy 2003 movie? TBH we haven't watched the Muppet Movie one yet. Empress Leota: 1 1/2oz Empress gin (purple) 1/2 oz Lemon Juice 1/4 oz Orange Juice 1/2 oz Honey simple syrup Soda or Sparkling water Rim a half ball glass with your favorite sugar crystals. Mix gin, juices and syrup over ice. Pour over ice and top off with soda or sparkling water. Garnish with an orange peel and Luxardo cherry.
