Love the topic, but hosts have a lot to learn.
I have a feeling all these 5 star reviews have been written by friends, because this podcast has a lot of room to improve. I’ve been a volunteer at an animal shelter for a decade and have worked with many rescues. I think this podcast could be a great way to educate people and shine a light on rescues, but i had a hard time getting through it because of the hosts. While I applaud their efforts, they come a cross as inexperienced valley-girl types whose commentary adds very little to the show. There’s lots of “likes” “ooh” giggles and they interrupt their interviewees with completely unnecessary commentary. I am a producer, and it appears no one is giving these hosts feedback or interview training; nor are they taking the time to edit out lulls and comments that add absolutely nothing to the podcast. I think this podcast has potential, and I acknowledge the hosts’ passion to highlight rescues. But I really hope they take the time to hone their skills to make the show better.
