“The wife”
I found the analysis somewhat helpful as a newcomer to the sport but these hosts lacked diversity of perspective in a way that was almost distracting. They emphasize all the classic straight white man tropes. One thing that really bugged me was they refer to the wife by name when it came to thin white women but for Joel and Tony - they referred to their wives as “the wife”. It came off like they didn’t bother to learn their names. Similarly, they perpetuated the toxic masculinity trope regarding emotional expression. Brooks and his ego being tied to his performance in a toxic way is not an emotional impactful story. The only comment that needed to be said about that episode is brooks needs a therapist. Yet the hosts went on and on and on and on and on about how compelling the Brooks episode was. Overall, it wasn’t awful, but consider adding diversity to the panel of hosts.

More reviews of Full Swing Thoughts
SS LaMagna have an exciting conversation about every episode worth listening to. This is clearly the most honest and insightful of all the “thoughts” going around on the show. You should keep it up with other golf sources (e.g., books, movies).

Can’t wait for season 2 of full...Read full review »
