“I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while to support their work. I discovered them on Chatty Broads and was immediately impressed by their academic analysis of reality television and biting humor. I lose it whenever Clues does impressions of the Great One or zooms in on face plays in Clues Corner. As an art historian and film buff, I used to feel embarrassed and guilty about watching reality tv, but they have taught me to view it through the same analytical lens typically reserved for more “serious” cultural products. I used to think I didn’t like sports, but now I realize I like the Bachelor as a sport. Those complaining about their disconnect from the “real emotions” of reality tv players do not fully grasp the thesis of their project. I also happen to like the abrasive sound effects and songs as part of the GOR aesthetic. Highly recommended for art and film nerds who watch The Bachelor.”
