A very bad week for Xbox as huge layoffs besiege Activision just months after the acquisition of Activision Blizzard King calling into question the future of ABK under the Xbox brand. Some say it was inevitable and a reflection of the industry as a whole that has suffered such layoffs and others point squarely to consolidation to blame such lay offs. Mike Ybarra, former President at Blizzard will be stepping down but speculation based on his recent comments suggest he may have been ousted.
