FILMUARY continues here at Gay for Play this week!     In today's episode, we dive deep into a discussion of The Matrix and its newest installation, The Matrix Resurrections! One of us is a lifelong fan of this iconic sci-fi trilogy, and one of us is a total newcomer to the franchise (& hadn't even seen the original until like, last week!). But we both have a LOT to share about Keanu and his slo-mo bullet dodging adventures. It would be a Herculean task to have a thorough conversation about a series that has been discussed to death, so we're just speaking from the heart and discussing why these films resonate with us! Which of course, includes looking at these movies through a queer lens, and discussing what this movie has to say about our own tech-driven society & it's obsession with rebooting and retelling familiar stories.   So red-pill up with us and we'll show you just how deep this rabbit hole goes!
