“To Dear MUNA, I have profusely enjoyed every millisecond of my viewership, and my life has greatly improved since I discovered this wonderful podcast. I truly believe we are on the same chaotic wavelength. In a previous episode, you displayed your desire to receive longer reviews and just to be told a story - so here is the story of the time I accidentally came out as gay TWICE in one day! My school had a Pride Mufti day (which is so sweet in retrospect. BTW ‘mufti day’ is when you get to wear your own clothes as opposed to wearing a uniform.) We were allowed to wear the colours of the pride flag that we identified with if we wanted to. Somehow I accidentally wore the lesbian flag colours; an orange shirt and pink jeans. To anyone perceiving me, they definitely would have thought it was purposeful, because that’s such a random and odd combination of colours to wear. The funny thing is, at the time I literally knew those were the lesbian colours, but it genuinely didn’t even cross my mind that I was wearing them. Like, it wasn’t even some subconscious thing. Then some girl in my class said to me (because she’d obviously clocked my outfit) “hey, are you gay?” I replied - with the least amount of hesitation and most amount of confidence that I’ve ever wielded in my life - with, “yeah, why?” I thought she said, “hey, are you okay?” I quickly backtracked, saying in a flustered way, “oh, I thought you said ‘are you okay?” Then at the end of the lesson she came up to me and said, “don’t worry. Your secret’s safe with me.” 😳!!! To be honest, there’s more lore with that girl but we won’t get into that right now. Hope you enjoyed my story. I love you Katie, I love you Naomi, I love you Josette, and I love myself 😁💗”
