“I really love the questions you ask about queer moments from childhood and I want to share one of mine 😌
As a kid I used to play Star Wars with my neighbors (I was totally unfamiliar with Star Wars but I assume they filled me in and I got the gist). I was able to score the role of Leia, and due to a lack of boys, a pretty girl with curly dark hair a year older than me was Han Solo. I remember getting butterflies the first time we played when she grabbed me by the waist to save me from the stormtroopers (her sisters) that she was shooting at with a nerf gun. I had no idea what being gay was at the time so I had no shame in requesting playing Star Wars any chance I could!!!
LOVE TO YOU ALL FROM ALABAMA 🫶 Can’t wait for season 3 🤠”
