She is an emeritus professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts Boston and is most known for her application of feminist theory to economics. In her work Julie focuses primarily on gender and economics and has also published in the journal ecological economics. She is among the founders and the most highly cited scholars in the field of feminist economics and we're kicking off a new fantastic year with her interview!
