Europe's energy situation has been exacerbated by the war in Ukraine. So, alongside the climate crisis, we have an energy crisis that affects everyone: businesses, individuals, hospitals, etc. Energy is a fundamental element of our world and simultaneously largely responsible for climate change. In this episode, Annika talks to Aurore Dudka about how the lack of energy impacts people differently by gender. Aurore is an expert in the economics and sociology of energy innovation. She is currently working on her PhD at the University of Milan, Italy, on the topic of women in energy communities, questioning their under-representation and trying to understand the barriers they might face. They discuss Aurore's topic of expertise and she shares her vast knowlege on how to jointly as communities overcome the energycrisis.
