Aww Phoenix! It continues with The Inner Circle (don't call us Hellfire) We breakdown part 2 of the Dark Phoenix saga where nearly 30 years later it's still the best adaptation of the classic comic book. This episode is famous for the GIF of Wolverine carving up a turkey leg but it's also so much more. Jean is introduced to "new sensations" (which is mentioned more times than Uncle Ben's speech in a Spider-Man flashback) Wolverine saving the day again, Mastermind with his victorian ages glove slaps and aristocrats fighting peasants, blank faced goons and purple jacketed wait staff. The escalating quality of The Dark Phoenix Saga is undeniable PLUS we discover another scene that was removed from the DVD release.
