For weeks we have been sharing #grlpower Turn Up the Volume and today all the conversations, the posts and the combined efforts of many of us come together to talk, to celebrate and to use our voices to proclaim that THIS IS NOT OKAY! Our guests today:   Founder of the not for profit organisation A Girl and Her World, Jane Kennedy, joins Susan & Nicole to not only talk about International Day of the Girl and #grlpower Turn Up the Volume and her work but also to host the conversation today.   Rachel Starkey, founder of Transformation Textiles which is a not-for-profit organization that assistsin providing young girls, in developing nations, menstrual supplies, enabling them to go to school. This Canadian-born visionary is an inspiration and her story is powerful.   Our partner PLAN CANADA joins us to talk about their organization and how we can be involved on an ongoing basis, what their work looks like and how awareness is great but mobilization is needed.
