In this episode I'm with Tamberly Conway, Ph.D., Founder and CEO, Conservation Conexions, LLC, serves as a Certified Forest and Nature Therapy Guide, a Certified Forest Therapy Trail Consultant and an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist.  Dr. Conway served for 12 years with the USDA Forest Service Conservation Education Program in Texas and Washington, D.C., where she focused upon diversity engagement, health and nature connections, forest health/human health relationships, conservation education and community empowerment in conservation.  During her tenure with the USFS, she became trained as a certified forest therapy guide and worked to propel Forest Therapy within the agency and among diverse communities.  She left the US Forest Service in January 2020 to launch Conservation Conexions, a woman-owned business focused upon weaving the forest therapy practice into the forestry, conservation and corporate sectors, as a methodology to support the health and wellbeing of people and the land, while promoting healthy soils, water conservation and tending of newly planted trees to provide nature-based healing opportunities and nature-based solutions for resilient communities.   Tamberly now serves as an international speaker and collaborator, bringing the forest and nature immersion practice into the folds of conservation, community engagement, leadership and women’s empowerment.      Tamberly holds a B.S. in Wildlife Management, a M.S. in Forest Recreation Management, and a Ph.D. in Forestry, focusing on Human Dimensions in Natural Resources.   Follow us at 👇 Website: ⁠lorenlahav.com⁠ Facebook: ⁠facebook.com/LorenLahavOfficial⁠ Instagram: ⁠instagram.com/iamlorenlahav⁠ Follow Tamberly Conway at 👇 Website: https://conservationconexions.com/
