Great Astrology Content But Too Much Selective Activism
I listen to this podcast religiously and I appreciate how well Jessica synthesizes astrology into a language we can all understand. However, her discussion of the horrific atrocities happening around the world bothers me, not because of how long she talks about this topic, but because of how selective she is in what she talks about. Week after week, she goes on and on about what’s happening in Gaza which should definitely be talked about. However, if she really wants to use her platform to spread awareness (as she says), maybe she should talk about other atrocities that aren’t already being heavily covered by the media, such as the fact that Haiti is falling apart as a nation at this very moment. I’m only saying this because she has said more than once that she wants to use her podcast as a platform - I’m simply suggesting that she uses it as a platform for issues that aren’t being covered by every other media outlet out there already. I know there is so much happening in the world but when she constantly chooses to only focus on a few things, it feels like selective activism. Either acknowledge everything that’s happening or acknowledge nothing and stick to astrology

I’m so glad you decided to do this. Definitely goes above and beyond the typical horoscope. I’m so grateful to witches and astrologers like you out in the world providing so much. It’s invaluable.

Ome of the best astrology podcasts out there. I love the mix between traditional astrology and up-to-date politics. Learning something new with every episode and the host is such a beautiful soul. Lots of hugs!
