“I love an investigation into people who lie, I love listening to a character be built up and then picked apart- I love wondering why people lie like this. But I couldn’t stand how the family are a mess because ‘oooh nooo he didn’t actually go to Cambridge:(‘. Like get a grip lmao, it could have just been an interesting story about a weird dude, but it became an example of an elitist family clutching pearls because there’s a slight stain on their lineage. I can understand being upset about someone being murdered but it’s not that they care about the victim, it’s because they’re sad that their elite reputation is tainted. I’d have liked to have known more about these people, and the victim, rather than a family having a crisis over something so trivial.”
