Not worth the hype
Wondery have done a great job of advertising this podcast. I’d heard the adverts everywhere and was intrigued but in all seriousness the people involved don’t come across well and are very privileged. This whole story should have been delivered in one hour long episode, possibly two episodes. There is no depth to the story across all 8 episodes and it’s very repetitive. The journalist/narrator tries hard to build interest and intrigue on points that completely fall flat. I’m sure he’s a really good journalist but for me, this story is just long and dull in this format.

Very good podcast one of the best I’ve herd in some time, great pace and very good chapter beats. The character revelation at the end was unexpectedly moving and touching and touched on deeper set of emotion than I expected, especially from a true crime spooky podcast.
