Authentic tales
I’ll admit, I kinda bristle when non-Hawaiians tell tales from the islands, I don’t know why. It feels...sacrilegious, in a way? Unco Jared’s writing, delivery, and authentic background make for a perfect storm of frightful, yet respectful, tale telling that’s accessible to all—while occasionally serving the locals-only one liner. (Look, he went shi-shi in his pants!) Shoots, brah, keep going. New fave podcast.

Just listened to the first episode and it was fantastic. The host has such a clear voice and it’s seriously meant for storytelling. I can’t wait to hear more ghost stories and lore from Hawaii.
