Easy to get addicted - but have questions
Been bingeing this one for weeks! It’s at its heart such a simple concept which makes it so entertaining to listen to. Tom and Liz balance each other out really well (like the two drama masks haha), and Liz is a champ for sharing so much. All that said… there are some things I have questions about: - therapy speak (words like empath, narcissist, trauma, etc) are thrown around in a way that may not be super helpful or accurate. Look at Jonah Hill’s weird texts to his gf for an example on how this can be a problem! - agree with others that Liz tends to interrupt, but I get it - I do that too - why are you calling us readers? If it’s a joke, I don’t get it hahah - Tom needs to think through his thought before he starts talking. He tends to stop, start, hesitate through his comment and it’s really hard to follow. - honestly wish Zane was on every episode, or even a co host. He is so articulate and insightful

Liz and Tom bring a level of empathy and humour to these oh-so-horribly-relatable stories and the voyeur in all of us who likes to push bruises will enjoy these deep dives into ordinary people’s desolate wastelands of dating and relationship agony. Love it! Would give it more stars if I could 😊
