“The bad boys had a much, much better team. Still, they had to double, triple team and tackle Jordan. The Bulls were a rebuilding team. Jordan averaged 30+ points a game on Detroit. They were known to be a defensive team. Jordan a young gun, would carve them up. They had to focus on Jordan. At all cost they tried to shut him down. Joe Dumars may have’ve out weighed young MJ. Still he cooked him and everyone else 1 on 1. Exactly why they had to play tackle football. Because Jordan was more athletic and skilled then them. Jordan wouldn’t have won? The Jerry Krause and Bulls figured it out. Brought in the CBA’s Phil Jackson. Implemented Tex Winter’s Triangle Offense. It didn’t help Jordan, it helped the team play as one. Jordan still took over the 4 quarters of games.”
