Matthew joins us to share his life that has been a rollercoaster ride of trauma, addiction, crime, and redemption. His story takes a dramatic turn when he decides to rob a bank because his girlfriend was expecting a baby girl. At that point in his life, he was desperate for a better future than he had as a child, willing to take extreme risks to escape his troubled past. Little did he know, his life was about to take an even more unexpected twist. It turned out that the child wasn't his, leaving him to face the harsh realities of his choices. Remarkably, Matthew managed to turn his life around while in prison. He has since transformed himself into a successful business owner, running an outstanding custom exterior contracting company. His mission now is to give back to his community and inspire others to rise above their circumstances. Follow Matt’s journey to create the Due South Design Center, a non-profit vocational rehabilitation facility.
