“I have mixed feelings about this podcast. It is a lot of fun and laugh out loud funny in places. The three presenters clearly have a lot chemistry which makes it fun to listen to like you’re listening to friends however the down side I would say some of the views are wildly and surprisingly outdated.
As a 29-year-old woman who is now married but also committed to my career, I feel that some of the advice sounds like it’s coming from the 1980s. Was shocked to hear sleeping with someone on the first date means the woman is a “slag” (haven’t heard that sort of language since Year 11).
Lack of views on politics is worrying. Brexit is ‘boring as hell’ - this is the biggest political shift in a generation, describing it as boring makes comes across uninformed and ignorant.
I really like Jess as a presenter and think the podcast has potential but really needs to move with the times in terms of outlook if it wants to be sustainable. Think the co-hosts would benefit from learning more about politics and feminism to help them connect with a younger audience.”
