Chief Public Health Officer for HSR.health (Health Solutions Research), Jean Felipe, is passionate about using GIS in the public health sector. Born in Brazil, Jean studied medicine and worked with health focused geospatial analytics using A.I. to help map diseases, hospital deserts, mortality rates and so on.  In this episode, we talk about Jean's experience as a primary care provider and now a chief public health officer, the history of diseases, how the public health industry is collecting data to map out crises locally and globally, and the challenges the industry is facing today.
