“I started listening to the podcast because I looooove the hosts accents. They’re so cute, and now I know that Starbucks across the pond is called “Starbys” and my life is the better for it. Sometimes it’s hard to tell that they’re not a pair of Chicago natives with a hardcore, old school “Chi-cahh-goh” accent. I had no idea that a vintage Chicago accent and an Irish accent are so similar.
I’m not really a huge true crime listener, but I love how the hosts are respectful and don’t try to sensationalize the cases that they talk about. I also like the emphasis on historical cases, and cases from the UK that I have never heard about and that should totally get more coverage than they do.”
